Do you really need a positive attitude?

Have you always been taught or told to have a better attitude?

You may think that you already have a good attitude, and perhaps you do. However, what if everything you have been taught about attitudes was not the complete picture?

Here are some tips and truths to get you out of the judgment of you and your attitude, and into the capacity to create anything you truly desire.

  1. Find your inspiration.

Discover what inspires you the most and use it to filter your choices everyday. Being inspired enables you to maintain the drive necessary to find success. If you lack motivation, the first thing to realize is that motivation is usually driven by external sources, whereas inspiration is driven by what is most important to YOU. So make sure you’re being inspired from within, not motivated from without. Choose to focus on and DO what inspires you! You’ll know the different when it feels light, not heavy and like you have to do it. You have the power and choice to find what inspires you and follow it – just do it!

  1. Stop comparing yourself to others.

What if 90% of the thoughts, feelings and emotions you thought belonged to you, actually didnt'?! Kind of weird right? But truly, what if the majority of the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that you experience on a daily basis actually originated from other sources, people etc. that you're picking up from?

Would you take them as seriously? Would you choose to buy into them as much? What would you choose that you aren't choosing now?

When I first heard this I felt so light and relieved...even though it sounded really strange and like it 'should be' impossible. But the truth is that we are so much more psychic than we could imagine and yet we've never been taught how to deal with this constant influx of information (in the form of thoughts, feelings, and emotions), so we rarely every question whether they're our own....and if we need to respond and react to them as though they're our own.

  1. Take the leap.

The best way to increase your chances for success is to recognize that there is no gold standard for success. It’s what you choose. So stop paralyzing yourself by trying to figure out which direction will be the ‘best’ because all roads lead to Rome! You just need to choose! That choice will create an awareness which will give you informaation about the next choice.

How much more fun could you have and how much more free could you feel if you knew you couldn't fail or choose 'wrong'?!

If you only had 10 seconds left to live, what would you choose to do? People who choose and take action create and make their success. If you take action and start to see the results of your efforts, you’ll strengthen your muscles to do it again and again.

  1. Get the energy of what you want to create.

Your focus can also play a role in your attitude. When you maintain driven toward what inspires you, it's easier to maintain full steam ahead. If you have a lack of focus and don't know where you're going, it will feel like you’ve lost your mojo. But this is the sign to regroup and check back IN, with yourself, on what really inspires you.

  1. Allow for mistakes.

There aren’t actually any ‘mistakes’. There is just learning and feedback that you ascribe meaning to, so just do whatever it is that will expand you and be fun and light and you’re sure to be ok!

Follow these strategies daily and you'll begin to notice the changes immediately in your mindset and success.
